Arrow Season 4: 10 More DC Characters We'd Love To Appear
3. Richard Dragon
Richard Dragon has a long-standing history in the DC Universe as a troubled but good-hearted man who has trained a variety of heroes in martial arts. The New 52, however, showcased his apprentice instead, Ricardo Diaz, Jr. who trained with him as well as the League of Assassins before killing Dragon, taking his name, and returning home to take over. Acting like a living weapon, Dragon used his physical prowess and hard-lined personality to kill all of the major gang leaders and become the new kingpin of crime. He followed this up by putting a hit on the Green Arrow which nearly succeeded. His actions are made personal when he discloses his true identity to the heroes, revealing that John Diggle was responsible for killing his criminal father. This version of Dragon was made famous in Jeff Lemires recent acclaimed run. They already botched another villain, Komodo, from this same series, so hopefully they learned their lesson and eventually use Dragon as a gang presence with frightening physical power and a deep personal tie to their team.
Connor loves movies, comics, and TV, and is trying to write for people who feel the same way. When he's not sitting on the couch with his laptop, you might find him lying in his bed with his laptop.
