Arrow started off incredibly strong with a compelling first season before reaching new heights of brilliance in Season 2. However, the cracks began to show in Season 3 when contrived storylines, over-the-top drama and supernatural elements were brought to the forefront. Unfortunately, this downward spiral reached depressing new lows in the critically reviled fourth season.
