Bates Motel
A&E

A&E's Bates Motel is viewed by many as being one of the greatest pieces of genre television in the history of TV. That's even more impressive when you consider that this was a show nobody really asked for in the first place.

Upon being announced, many long-time horror hounds were up in arms at the notion that Alfred Hitchcock's legendary Psycho was being redone for television. But what Bates Motel did so splendidly, is that it spun the main narrative of Norman Bates' younger days in a way that felt fresh, contemporary, yet still with a very classic feel. And the way in which it was brought to a close? Absolute genius! Never once did Bates Motel feel overstuffed or dragged out, with the series being concluded in a way that felt natural and poignant.

Clocking in at a modest 50 episodes, Bates Motel was a truly classy production. By being comprised of just a relatively small amount of episodes, the series has also offered itself up as prime material to revisit time and time again.

Here, we're going to turn our attention to the show's two key characters - Norma Bates and her son Norman - and see if you can remember which of the pair said each of these lines of dialogue.

Answers at the end!

1. "Why Do Crazy People Keep Gravitating Towards Me?"
