Battlestar Galactica: All Human Cylon Models Ranked From Worst To Best

9. Tory Foster

Battlestar Galactica Tory Foster
Universal

Tory Foster was one of the most mysterious figures because she was the last of the final five to be introduced on the show. With the Tighs, Anders and Tyrol, each of their characters had been fairly well established over the course of the first season, and the first half of the second season. Tory is only introduced after the death of Billy, and is shown to be a highly competent assistant to the President.

That is all, really, that is known before she begins to spiral in the latter half of the third season. This was due to her increasing feeling of loss of place, culminating in her arrival into the room with the other activated Cylons. She was the wild card in the bunch, as the audience wasn't sure which way she was going to turn.

She is the first to embrace becoming a Cylon and the first to turn their backs on the Humans. She first displays her darker side with the murder of Cally Tyrol, before later advising the other Cylons to abandon the fleet. She turns against Roslin and would have happily left humanity behind.

Rekha Sharma had an immensely difficult task in making Tory both engaging and not out-and-out evil, which she thankfully manages. Tory may not have been the most popular of the Cylon models, but she certainly was interesting. Although, her demise was a bit sudden - sharing all of her memories with the other Cylons really came back to haunt her!
