Better Call Saul: 10 WORST Things Jimmy Has Done

2. Driving Chuck To Suicide

Better Call Saul
AMC

From the first episode, Chuck and Jimmy had had a very turbulent relationship. Chuck showed little gratitude to Jimmy for all his help and was always out to put his brother down in life and Jimmy brightened like a child anytime Chuck showed the tiniest sign of respect. In the end though, they are the only family they’ve got.

Jimmy’s act in tampering with the legal documents Chuck had on Mesa Verde led to his big brother to seek revenge and punishment for Jimmy. This resulted in Chuck manipulating Jimmy’s care over him into confessing, by making it look like his allergy to electricity had increased to extreme points and secretly video taping Jimmy’s confession that he tampered with the documents.

Back and forth, Jimmy and Chuck fought in court over the confession tape and Jimmy staged a complex scheme in which he makes Chuck look mentally unstable in front of everyone in the courtroom. The embarrassment, shame and many other legalities, including Jimmy revealing to the insurance company Chuck’s mental condition out of spite, leads to Chuck's death.

Jimmy succeeds in dragging Chuck off his pedestal down as much as he can and tarnishing the reputation and respect Chuck once had. With nothing left, Chuck initially sets fire to his house, and dies in the fire, all because of Jimmy’s actions.
