Keen-eyed viewers (or, the entire internet, immediately) will have sussed out that the first letter of each title from Season 2’s ten episodes form an anagram declaring that “FRING’S BACK.” Yes, the Chicken Man cometh. And based on what fans know of the future timeline in this tale, Gustavo Fring’s relationship with Hector Salamanca would seem to make him a likely candidate in wanting the cartel boss left well alone.

Fans have eagerly anticipated the introduction of the Los Pollos Hermanos kingpin ever since this prequel series began, and season 3 will finally give us a look at how Gus came to be. With BCS’ parent series Breaking Bad leaving the character’s history pre-Walter White mostly unexplored, there is an abundance of story material for Gilligan and co to mine in revealing the finer details of the Chicken Man’s origins.

If he is indeed the figure responsible for that warning note, we can look forward to the highly cautious Gustavo Fring soon making himself known in person to the characters of the show. Could the beginnings of a business relationship with Mike be in store? What tremors will the previously unseen Fring make upon his emergence? Look to the third season of Better Call Saul to reveal all, or at least, some.
