8. Ignoring His Girlfriends At The Parties
Mr Peanutbutter’s Boos deals with four different parties: the first ones PB attends with Katrina, Jessica Biel, Diane and Pickles respectively. Each different era sees him ignoring his dates for different reasons in different ways, and each highlight why he’s not as great as he seems.
Though he’s not openly horrible here - most guests would probably describe him as a delight - there’s enough of a pattern to put the blame squarely at his door. Each of his girlfriends just want some basic courtesy, but unfortunately, Mr PB is found wanting.
Katrina begs not to be left alone, a promise PB makes but very quickly breaks, failing to understand why Katrina is mad. Jessica Biel’s situation is a bit more understandable, with Mr PB failing to protect her from seeing BoJack as a mummy. He does try, but is too far away in his blocky costume... but if he’d cared enough, he’d be close by, right?
Diane and Pickles are two sides of the same coin, with (as Diane points out) Mr PB unwilling and unable to deal with the realities of dating a younger girl; all he ever wants is the upside, never the bad.
