2. Salem, Is That You?

Right as the trailer draws to a close, the show's premiere date appears on the screen, hovering over a wall of fog. Just as it begins to disappear, a black cat bursts through the fog and slinks its way across the screen. Fans will know that the black cat in question is undoubtedly Salem.

Salem is best known for his appearance in the '90s sitcom - with this iteration of him becoming so beloved that the comics changed his appearance and backstory to make their version more like the TV show's.

A former witch sentenced to spend an indefinitely long time as a cat, Salem was responsible for some of the show's funniest moments and has become almost as iconic as Sabrina herself. He has a much more serious role in the Chilling Adventures Of Sabrina comic series, acting as a confidante and critic to Sabrina.

It's hard to imagine Sabrina without Salem, and it's great to know that he will be featured in the upcoming series. While we don't yet know if he'll be offering any witty one-liners, he will likely make his presence felt in a huge way.
