Daredevil Season 3: 10 Things You Need To Know About Bullseye
7. He Was Hired By Kingpin To Kill Daredevil
Having cemented a reputation for being the deadliest hitman on the market, Bullseye found himself in the services of Kingpin, whose previous efforts to eliminate The Devil of Hell's Kitchen had continuously fallen short.
This was in spite of the fact that Bullseye's original mission was to kill Fisk himself. But Fisk, not being the sentimental type, gave his callous assailant a better offer, and took him under his wing.
Unfortunately, Bullseye was only employed in Kingpin's services for a single day. Bullseye's failure to deafeat Daredevil in the first encounter put a lengthy and turbulent hiatus on their business relationship, one which Bullseye attempted to reignite on several occasions. Success came only a great deal later, when Bullseye was tasked to kill his recently acquired buddy, Deadpool.
In spite of Bullseye's initial failings, it's fair to say that Kingpin underestimated his intuition. The hitman managed to gain some compelling information regarding Daredevil, which Kingpin shrugged off as hogwash. Their business partnership may have been short-lived, but as unnaturally-driven bad guys, they were a highly amicable match up.
