7. She Misses Danny Pink
It doesn't take Sherlock to figure that one out and Clara didn't need to let us into her subconscious to show us but it was a heartwarming insight into her suppressed sorrow nonetheless. Danny is still a huge presence in her life and losing him was obviously something that was always going to take a long time for her to come to terms with. She may fully never accept it but hopefully this final encounter with her beau will help her on her way to the closure she needs and deserves. She was looking for Danny's acceptance to move on and he gave it to her in the only way Danny could, by telling her to "just get the hell on with it". It sounded much nicer when he said it, though. Of course it was never really Danny speaking at all and once again this sequence proves to be even more interesting when you bear in mind that it's all coming from Clara herself. Danny claiming that he died to save Clara and the rest of the world "just got lucky", for example, was probably somewhat of a hopeful exaggeration on Clara's part.
