Doctor Who: 10 Things That Must Happen In Series 10
7. Lots More Missy
We don't yet have a female Doctor - though, who knows, we might have one soon - but at least we have a female Master. Since the reveal of her true identity in Series 8, Michelle Gomez' Missy has frequently stolen the show with her larger-than-life, totally bananas portrayal of the Doctor's gender-swapped arch-nemesis.
She was arguably overused in Series 8, what with all those end-of-episodes tags, but the character was definitely underused in Series 9. She was terrific in the opening two-parter The Magician's Apprentice/The Witch's Familiar, but after that, she inexplicably never appeared again, not even in the season finale Hell Bent, when her long-in-the-tooth scheme to put the Doctor and Clara together to cause harm came to fruition.
We know that Missy will return in Series 10, so let's hope there is a bigger role to be had for the queen of evil this time around.
