Doctor Who: 11 Worst Costume Disasters Of All Time
6. The Movellans (Destiny Of The Daleks)
If a culture was ever meant to be explored off screen, it would be the Movellans. The day to day life of one must be awful, since it must begin with scraping the mud out of the Mcoy-crisp-esque crinkles of their pristine white uniforms with a cocktail stick, followed by nine years in the shower to keep their hair in check. After this, they seal themselves into their costumes with the giant collar that is so large that it could be used as a forceful device to keep your head posture intact. This supposedly advanced race occupies the same planet as the Thals who, despite wearing vest jackets that would make Marty McFly frown confusingly at why they chose to wear them, are fairly normal looking. Like the rest of this story, therefore, the Movellans are an attempt to do something alien gone horribly - and ultimately hilariously - wrong.
Spender of time in vast, daring twenty four hour amounts each day. Little else.
