Doctor Who: 20 Faces That Epitomise The Eleventh Doctor

15. The Beast Below

See? The Eleventh Doctor was as cool as a cucumber/bow tie/fez/stetson most of the time (usually he was able to contain his anger but you could still see it bubbling beneath the surface, the fury of a Time Lord...) but this is one of his incarnations that you should definitely never underestimate. As fun loving as he was, he could just as easily blow his top when things got too much for him and when he did, it was pretty - nay, completely - terrifying for everyone involved. Even if you weren't directly at the receiving end of his rage, you'd probably still have to change into a clean pair of underwear afterwards. Seriously. Don't underestimate him. Yes, the Twelfth Doctor is arguably much more intimidating (let's be honest, how many times did he actually make Clara cry during Series 8?) but the Eleventh Doctor's outbursts could come out of nowhere which meant that you never quite knew how he was going to react to any given situation. This moment from The Beast Below can definitely vouch for that. It was only his second episode and already viewers were being shown what sort of man this Doctor was going to be. It wasn't all bad news in that episode, though...
