Doctor Who: Matt Smith's 10 Greatest Moments

4. The Doctor€™s Wife -€œAND HOW€™S YOUR DANCING?€

Doctors Wife In my introduction to this article, I mentioned that Eleven is a more troubled but upbeat person, and when needs to be, can be very serious and angry, commonly in sudden bursts. This can be seen the easiest in €˜The Doctor€™s Wife€™, an episode written by the magnificent Neil Gaiman. The scene I€™m about to list may not even be the best in this episode, but it is the best one to showcase the acting wonder that is Matt Smith. When he embarks on a yelling rampage that is nothing if not beautiful to watch. He reveals all the little flaws of the two guarding the boxes of voices, and ending in the revelation that the man has two left feet (literally), as to where the line of anger €œAND HOW€™S YOUR DANCING?€ comes from. In a moment, this is the Doctor not sad, not happy, not saving the world, just a pure vent of his anger at these people for endangering his friends, which can be the most heroic thing of all at times.
