Doctor Who Regenerations: Ranked From Worst To Best

1. The Fourth Doctor To The Fifth Doctor

One of the all time greatest Doctors, Tom Baker's incarnation of the Time Lord met his end foiling the Master's plans once again. Having fallen from a great height, the Doctor learns that the suspicious and ghostly Watcher was his future self all along. While the regeneration itself is a little odd, with the Watcher melding with the Doctor, fading away and revealing Peter Davison underneath, it makes for some truly entertaining (if surreal) viewing. Marking the end of the fourth Doctor's era, this regeneration is a fitting conclusion to Tom Baker's run and left viewers with a lasting memory of a truly unique regeneration. "It's the end," says the Doctor. "But the moment has been prepared for." Perhaps one of the most memorable and oft quoted lines about regeneration, Baker delivers the line with his trademark grin and wild-eyed enthusiasm. This Doctor was quintessentially himself right through to his very last moments. Viewers may still be a little confused over the presence of the Watcher but it certainly makes for a fun topic of discussion and speculation - and if there's one thing fans love, it's to speculate! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l3w-BHsXt4I What did you think of this list?
