7. The Twelfth Doctor Regularly Brings Clara On Dangerous Missions?
Everyone knows that the Doctor hates seeing people die because of his own action, right? Pretty sure, 2.4 Billion dead children can do that to a guy. So why took it to another level by regularly inviting Clara to specific dangerous situations? Yes, the Seventh did it too, but most of the time, he already arranged the victories before his adventures began, and also can be excused because the show's cancellation made sure the audience never actually knew what his plans were for Ace, but it was obvious he had his reasons. But the argument of the Twelfth being like a classic Doctor is invalid anyways, because, again, the time war really made him sensitive about people dying because of him. But for what its worth, unlike the Seventh, the Twelfth invites Clara to dangerous situations for no reason: - He invited Clara to go inside a Dalek, which in his words the most dangerous place in the universe. - He involved Clara in a mission to confront a potentially powerful, unseeable monster that would have probably killed her. - He involved Clara in a mission to steal from the most dangerous bank in the universe that had a guard that could have lobotomized her just by learning of her presence. - Even when he had the opportunity to send Clara and a child away from a place that was about to explode (the moon) the Doctor didnt do it. - Without Claras consent, he puts her in a situation where they were trapped in train in space while a mummy that can kill with only 60 seconds and a touch was on the loose. The past Doctors usually involved his companions in his adventures because either they had no clue how to return to earth as they were TARDIS trapped, or because they were under the impression that the TARDIS was going to take them somewhere nice. But the Twelfth is usually just looking for trouble. So why involve Clara? The Tenth and the Eleventh Doctor had so much crisis over the issue of endangering companions. Most of the time, it was the main character arcs of their seasons. So what the hell?
