Doctor Who Series 2 Cast: Where Are They Now?
6. Claire Rushbrook
Aside from featuring as Toby's colleague Ida Scott on the doomed Sanctuary Base 6, Claire Rushbrook's other major contribution to the Whoniverse was her role in the infamous Doctor Who Weakest Link special in 2007.
Spoilers: she didn't last long.
After her dalliance with the Beast (the Devil one, not Anne Robinson), Rushbrook continued to appear regularly on British TV, returning to prominence with her leading role in comedy series My Mad Fat Diary, for which she received a BAFTA nomination for Best Supporting Actress in 2014.
Hollywood has also beckoned: she starred in Netflix's Enola Holmes opposite Millie Bobby Brown and Henry Cavill, and had a blink-and-you'll-miss-it role in 2019's Spider-Man: Far From Home, as a disgruntled Stark Industries employee working with Jake Gyllenhaal's Mysterio.
She was last seen playing Jenna Coleman's concerned mother Caryl in the 2023 Amazon thriller series Wilderness. Needless to say, Ida Scott and Clara Oswald make for one hell of a duo.
