Doctor Who Series 7: 10 Reasons To Be Excited

7. Dinosaurs

This is not the first time prehistoric beasts have crossed paths with the Doctor, but for many younger fans it may well be. Dinosaurs first made an appearance during Jon Pertwee€™s time as the Third Doctor in Invasion of the Dinosaurs. Move on almost forty years and series 7 has Dinosaurs on a Spaceship. Clearly giving a nod to Snakes on A Plane with the title, you pretty much will get what is promised. According to the many comments that have been put forward by cast and crew the episode contains one of the biggest Who sets ever created, has a character based on a certain Mr Stringfellow and sees the Doctor, Amy and Rory riding a Triceratops. What more could you want? Oh and the title of the episode is one of the favourite ever episode names of Steven Moffat. Best of all, it is the second episode of the series meaning that there is just over a week to wait to see what Caro Skinner called €œa genius piece of writing.€ Can. Not. Wait.
