Originally released as an interactive, seven-hour movie as an Android app, Mosaic follows the death of an author and the tackles the ensuing mystery. Created by Steven Soderbergh, never one to shy away from innovation, the app allowed audiences to chose the way in which they see the story play-out.
In 2018, the app was made into a six-episode miniseries, brining stars Sharon Stone and Garret Hedlund back for a more conventional narrative. Mosaic revels in its complexities and ambiguous character motivations, and works well as both a tantalising murder mystery and a deep character study.
