Every HBO Miniseries Ranked Worst To Best

Based on the recent novel by Stephen King, The Outsider kicks off as a police drama, but then the twists begin to rear their ugly heads. There's murder, demons, and doppelgangers. There's also a beaten down detective played by the magnificent Ben Mendelsohn and a man who may or may not be a killer, portrayed by a chilling Jason Bateman.

The Outsider is slow in places and suffers from King's need to go all-out with the finale, but thanks to the bleak tone and stand-out performances, it's still one hell of a watch.
