In The Night Of, Riz Ahmed stars as Pakistani-American student Naz Khan, who one night is arrested and accused of a recent murder. What follows is a downward decent into legal troubles, drug use and crime, all shown through a lens that takes a long, hard look at the US justice system and the racism that hides within the country.

Stunning in both acting and direction, The Night Of is beautifully crafted and sports a dark, ominous tone in which everything must be questioned and every innocuous detail counts toward the bigger picture.
