Every Umbrella Academy Episode Ranked Worst To Best
14. The Majestic 12 (S2E4)
After three episodes, we had come to love Lila, but a look into her past was definitely needed at this point. Opening episode four with this flashback fleshed out the character more, helping her to become an even more integral part of the show, and one that needs to return next season.
Throughout season two, Luther's role was largely reduced to comedy value, and while his awkward reunion with Allison and his nitrous trip were funny, the latter was jarring and felt slightly out of place from the rest of the episode, particularly Klaus' interaction with Dave.
The scene in which Dave punches Number 4 is truly heartbreaking for Klaus, and painfully ironic, as he is driven to drinking by the same man for which he first got sober. The fact that Robert Sheehan could bring this type of scene to the same episode in which he tells the story of the scorpion and the frog is exactly the type of versatility that makes him the show's MVP.
All this without even mentioning Vanya transferring part of her power to Harlan. This seemed to come out of nowhere, as we didn't know that powers were transferable, but was still a strong scene in an overall strong episode.
