Throughout the MCU, there have previously been several super soldier introduced before the debut of The Falcon and the Winter Soldier. Of course, there was Steve Rogers and Bucky Barnes, the five that Zemo killed in Siberia, and even the Hulk and the Abomination were the results of failed experiments to recreate what Dr. Erskine achieved.

Fans have now been introduced to eight more super soldiers in the form of the Flag Smashers. Led by Karli Morgenthau, the group of rebels kicked the collective asses of Falcon, the Winter Soldier, the new Captain America, and Battlestar, without really breaking much of a sweat.

After the fan theory fest that was WandaVision, the mysteries surrounding the MCU's second Disney+ series have been relatively limited. However, the first two episodes of The Falcon and the Winter Soldier have posed the question of eight new enhanced fighters.
