2. Vinnie's Interactions
The death of Brian has immediately spawned a new character, Vinnie, with voice actor Tony Sirico ('The Sopranos') joining the cast for the remainder of season 12. The addition of Vinnie to the Griffin family has not been accepted by some fans, who bemoan the fact he'll never be as good as Brian, though it will be interesting to see how he is received by the rest of Quahog. By introducing a new character, Family Guy are opening up new avenues - new conversations, new interactions, new relationships and plotlines. Though I'm not in favour of the idea of bumping off Brian to achieve this, it is still intriguing to see how his death -and subsequent replacement- affects the rest of Sponner St.
