Futurama: 50 Best Ever Episodes

32. A Bicyclops Built For Two

Katey Sagal's time on "Married... With Children" gets a 31st century reboot as Leela meets a member from her species, a slob named Al. The send-up of garish 90's sitcoms with cackling audiences is one of the highlights of the episode, with Leela even doing her best Peggy Bundy cosplay. It also features a fantastic opening sequence of the Planet Express Crew heading onto the 31st century version of the internet where all of our own obsessions, circa 2000, are fair game to be made fun of. "A Bicyclops Built for Two" is a strong reminder about getting too caught up in your own troubles, and how friends can always help you find your way back.

31. I Dated A Robot

Let's be honest; everyone wanted to date Lucy Liu in 2000, right? Well, "I Dated a Robot" will make sure that you can at least see Fry fulfill the fantasy of dating your 20th century fantasy girl. Fry's childlike attitude in the opening moments are blissful, as watching him smile like an idiot as he rides a dinosaur is endlessly charming. There's also a flawless Twilight Zone parody that opens the episode, covering some of the most famous episodes in trademark Futurama ways. It's a tremendously funny knock at the internet and its fixation on celebrities, online shopping and piracy.
