Game Of Thrones: 10 Characters We Desperately Want To Survive Season Five

8. Petyr Baelish

One of the true puppet masters behind the game of thrones, there€™s very little that happens in Westeros that doesn€™t somehow have Lord Baelish€™s fingerprints on it. Known as Littlefinger by both his enemies and allies €“ a list that changes from day to day depending on what and who can best suit his own personal needs €“ Petyr is the key politician in the land of the seven kingdoms. What makes the character so compelling is that his true motives are never clear, even to the viewing audience. At times it appears he€™s driven by love, then he goes and makes it seem the only person Littlefinger is truly capable of loving is himself. He€™s now promised Sansa Stark to Ramsay Bolton, a marriage that House Bolton views as a move to strengthen their hold on the north, while Baelish sells it to Sansa as her chance to exact vengeance on the men who betrayed her family. The loss of Littlefinger and his whispering schemes would leave a noticeable void in the political maneuvering that takes place on Game of Thrones, and we€™re not ready for that to happen. Yet.
