Game Of Thrones: 10 Worst Things The Starks Have Ever Done

7. Arya Left The Hound To Die

While the Hound may have eventually become popular with fans of the show, he was never liked by the people of Westeros. A tragic and haunting childhood molded Sandor Clegane into a bitter, hate-filled, child murdering monster. His relationship with Arya Stark however, set him on something of a path to redemption.

Though he originally kidnapped her and kept her tied up to prevent any escape attempt, the two eventually built up an undeniable connection and became one of the most popular duos in the entire show. Though his reasoning may have been questionable at best, Sandor did more to help Arya than anyone else after Ned's death, at least trying to return her to something resembling a home.

After their journey to her brother at the Twins ended in heartbreak for Arya, and they arrived at the Eyrie just the wrong side of Lady Lysa's death, Sandor still kept the she-wolf with him, and fought fiercely to protect her.

An incredible battle with Brienne resulted in the Hound on death's door, begging for mercy from Arya. After everything that they went through together, no one would have expected her to try and save him, but surely the least she could have done would have been to put Clegane out of his misery, instead of leaving him to die a slow, agonising death.
