Game Of Thrones: 13 Missing Characters Who May Still Have An Important Part To Play

7. Tyrek Lannister

tyrek You€™d be forgiven for completely forgetting Tyrek Lannister, given his similarities in both appearance and role to his cousin Lancel, who would later play a significant part in Cersei€™s storyline. Like his cousin, Tyrek (the son of Tygett Lannister, Lord Tywin€™s third brother) squired for King Robert Baratheon, but disappeared during the Riot Of King€™s Landing shortly after being wed to an infant, Ermesande Hayford. Despite an extensive search by the City Watch, Tyrek was never found, alive or dead, which led to Jaime Lannister developing private suspicions about whether Varys engineered his disappearance. It wouldn€™t be out of character for the eunuch, who would certainly benefit from the information held by somebody in the Lannister circle, particularly as the last chapter of A Dance With Dragons revealed that he has remained in King€™s Landing after his own supposed disappearance. On the topic of missing Lannisters, a fourth brother of Lord Tywin, Gerion, disappeared on a journey to the Ruins of Valyria. Given that he was Tyrion€™s favourite uncle, some form of reunion isn€™t completely out of the question now that he also finds himself in Essos.
