7. The High Sparrow

It takes a special kind of *sshole for you to make the fans actually side with Cersei Lannister over you, and that's exactly what the High Sparrow is. A religious zealot of the most extreme nature, the High Sparrow - played by the always excellent Jonathan Pryce - has essentially fanaticized his way into taking over control of King's Landing. Religious nuts of any faith are dangerous, and the High Sparrow has shown what can happen when things go too far. When we last left the players in King's Landing, Cersei had been jailed for some time and had to undergo the infamous penance walk to atone for some of her crimes. Meanwhile the High Sparrow sits atop the city, judging all those who don't fall in step with the Faith Militant. We've spent four seasons hating Cersei Lannister and wanting nothing more than to see her get what's coming to her, and then we spent the last few episodes of Season 5 wanting her to grab the High Sparrow by the throat and reassert her dominance. Hopefully the High Sparrow and the rest of his ilk meet a violent end. How dare they try to clean up the cesspool that is King's Landing, robbing us of all the sex and debauchery that we've grown accustomed to? I don't care who does it; someone needs to off this guy.
