Game Of Thrones Season 6: 10 Questions We're Asking After 'Book Of The Stranger'

6. What's Littlefinger Really Up To?

Littlefinger makes his long-awaited Season 6 debut this week (and unfortunately Robin Arryn makes the debut that no one wanted to see), leaving it rather ambiguous about just what the hell he's been up to (apart from buying a falcon) since we last saw him in Season 5, when he was scheming in King's Landing.

The bigger question now though is just what he'll do next? He'll be heading to the Wall for a reunion with Sansa, but what exactly does he plan to do? You can never trust Littlefinger, even when he announces his plans. Is he really going to add the forces of the Vale to the wildlings and other Northern Houses, in the battle against the Boltons? That would be unlike him, in putting his eggs in one basket, and it's more likely he's still playing multiple sides to ensure he backs the winner.

There's also his rather selective wording: "The time has come to join the fray." Just some coincidental wordplay, or a deliberate hint at the return of another house who may be invested in the coming battle?
