Game Of Thrones Season 6: 10 Ups And 2 Downs From 'Home'
4. The Wildlings Arrive At Castle Black
Talk about timing. The tension was ramping up nicely at Castle Black, as the mutineers tried to break down the door and get to Davos and co. Instead it was another door that was broken down, as Wun Wun smashed through the gates and allowed the wildlings to come flooding in.
It was hard not to cheer at this scene, especially the arrival of the giants (both the actual one and Tormund Giantsbane). Wun Wun gets his moment when one of Thorne's men is foolish enough to try and cross him, although surprisingly that's where the fighting ends, and instead Thorne and friends are locked in the cells.
Leaving all of them alive and imprisoned means it's something for the returning Jon Snow to deal with, and it'll be interesting to see just what he decides to do with them. That tantalising prospect aside, this was a good way to get Davos out of a sticky situation, and meant we had more of the always welcome presence of Tormund, along with Dolorous Edd continuing his strong start to Season 6.
