Game Of Thrones Season 6: 5 Reasons Cleganebowl Needs To Happen (And 3 It Doesn't)

3. Cleganebowl Yes: The Cersei Problem

The problem with Cersei Lannister is that she is incredibly hard to kill. For all of her flaws, she is a survivor, and possibly the best one on the show next to Arya. There's also no obvious plot protection, like Ramsay Bolton either.

Cersei is not going to go down at random and she will not go down without a fight. She surrounds herself and her son with various levels of protection. If a girl makes it out of Bravos alive, she may be coming to shut the fairest eyes in the land. Here lies the largest Cersei problem; The Mountain.

There is no way of knowing if they will pair up Arya and the Hound again, but their purposes right now are aligned and given Cersei's fierce survival instincts, their paths lead to the same place. A great thing about Cleganebowl is that it is a huge exercise in fan service that could actually lead to another, all while strengthening the overall plot. Thanks to the Cersei problem, Cleganebowl may be quite utilitarian.
