1. Tyrion: "I Don't Want To Destroy Our Family. I Never Have."

When Was It Said? Episode seven: The Dragon and the Wolf

Tyrion and Cersei shared a spiteful reunion in which the dwarf insisted that he remains a family man despite killing his father, and siding against his sister and the realm.

What Does It Mean? Could Tyrion yet perform a dramatic u-turn and side with Cersei in the war for the Iron Throne? We never do see how the two resolve for Cersei to return to the Dragon Pit, and there have been other hints that Tyrion’s loyalty still lies with the lion.

He pleaded for brother Jaime to flee from Dany’s dragon in The Spoils of War, and he repeated how much he loved Cersei’s deceased children before discovering she was (fake) pregnant. Could he see this future Lannister baby as a chance to rebuild his house?

That would explain his troubled expression outside Dany’s chamber at the conclusion of series eight. We know that Cersei is playing Jon and Daenerys with her promise to send soldiers north, but is Tyrion in on the Lannister scheme, or is he himself being played?
