Game Of Thrones Season 7: Everything We Know So Far
4. More Characters Meeting Than Before
As the series draws to a close, we can expect storylines to converge and thus more characters than ever before to start running into each other. That's already happened over the last couple of years - Tyrion meeting Daenerys the biggest example - but Season 7 should really bring people together.
Daenerys is sailing for Westeros, and a showdown with Cersei, but will probably have to deal with Euron on the way, Her arrival is also likely to get the attention of the newly crowned King in the North, which means that meeting of Ice and Fire should definitely be happening as well. It means reunions for characters who haven't seen each other in years - the Starks could well all come back together, finally - and some who have avoided each other despite being major players, As Alfie Allen (Theon) put it to Mashable:
"It’s gonna be a crazy season. It’s definitely going to blow a lot of people’s minds. It’s still the same running theme; characters that haven’t crossed each other’s paths before will do, and they’re gonna take it even further this time. People have loyalties that they have to examine."
Liam Cunningham (who plays Davos) echoed those sentiments, telling IGN:
"The progress of the show with the White Walkers and all that stuff, it's pretty obvious nobody's going to be able to take this force on on their own.
"So when we've had all these, for all these seasons, disparate stories come from disparate ends of Westeros, it has been – and it's been signalled from the end of last season – that there's a lot of people and situations going to be coming together.
"It was kind of interesting to meet some people who I normally only meet on a red carpet. Who that is and when that happens remains to be seen."
