3. Hand Of The King

Tywin Lannister died as the Hand of the King, at the hands of Tyrion. Had the dwarf been taller, the resentment between the pair wouldn't have escalated quite to that extent, and the whole grisly affair would've been avoided, but men aren't invincible. The head of the House Lannister would've died at some point, and when he did, Tyrion would be the ideal choice to serve as Hand. We've already seen that he's capable of doing so, leading King's Landing to victory over Stannis' fleet in the Battle of Blackwater Bay. Of course, he received help, but without Tyrion, the city would've fallen. He would be an impressive Hand if people would just listen to him - which is presumably what we will find to Daenerys' benefit in season 6.
