9. Too Much Sexposition

HBOAs is the standard with most modern HBO shows, Game of Thrones is filled to the brim with sex and nudity. As well as fitting in with the primal, medieval theme of the show, it's also no doubt lent to its massive popularity. In many scenes, the nudity and sex has worked extremely well with regards to characterization. For example, the first episode introduces Daenerys as completely naked, about to take a bath while being felt up by her brother. This showed not only her vulnerability, but also the status of many women in that world as being objects to trade and sell away. Thanks the show's average of about one sex scene per episode, it has helped to coin the term 'sexposition' - introducing narrative elements while characters are doing the dirty. However, some believe that it's starting to get a bit too much. Did we really need all those sex scenes with Oberyn to learn that he's a bit free-spirited? Were the background rape scenes at Craster's Keep totally necessary? If Game of Thrones wants to keep the sexual stuff interesting, then the creators might want to stop squeezing them into every possible moment.
