8. Bloodraven€™s Two Eyes

HBOThis one is by no means huge in itself, but it has made some readers worried that the show creators might lack a full understanding of the source material, without regard for the consequences along the line. One instance of this is in the introduction of Bloodraven. It might sound like a petty thing, but book Bloodraven famously has only one working eye. When Bran encounters him under the weirwood, he has a root growing out of an empty eye socket, demonstrating his complete symbiosis with the tree that he lives under. However, in the show, Bloodraven's eyes are both working. This wouldn't be a negative in itself, but the show still uses a line that references his singular eye, with the character saying that he has a "thousand eyes, and one". If the creators had decided to just change Bloodraven's appearance, there'd be no problem. It's puzzling though, when the character refers to traits that he doesn't actually have.
