The march toward Bruce Wayne's inevitable future was mapped gradually in Gotham, but toward the end of Season 1 it was given an accelerated kick. Season 2 will commence with Alfred (Sean Pertwee) and the young Master Wayne stumbling upon Bruce's father's secret, which exists at the end of a cold, stony tunnel.
