Gotham Season 5: 5 Ups & 1 Down From ‘13 Stitches’
Despite being a bit predictable in some areas, Gotham's comeback episode is another hit.

It's been a long two weeks without Gotham but the wait is finally over, as the Fox series resumed its final season with a brand new episode entitled 13 Stitches - and what a great episode it proved to be.
Picking up directly from the events of Pena Dura, Gordon finds himself public enemy number one, on the run from his former friend, Eduardo Dorrance, who is searching the city high and low for him. The GCPD captain does everything he can to remain hidden, all the while playing the hero and trying to save the city. In his time of need, he turns to those that will be able to help.
13 Stitches isn't just about Gordon, however, as the majority of the show's characters feature in some capacity. Oswald Cobblepot aligns himself with Selina Kyle, in the hopes of tracking down the thief that's been burgling from his private collection of diamonds. Ed Nygma and Barbara Kean also have some great stuff this week, as does the illustrious Jeremiah Valeska, who pops up once or twice throughout.
Much like previous episodes in this season, 13 Stitches is edging ever so close to perfection, but there is one caveat that manages to hold it back. Nonetheless, another undeniably enjoyable instalment.
