4. The Online Content Is Back

You probably didn't read the Heroes webcomics, but they were actually kind of fun and spent time on characterisation and minor plot threads which the show sometimes neglected. It's mostly been forgotten, but Heroes did pioneer the use of social media and online content to promote a TV series, and NBC has announced that the show will first return in digital form prior to airing on the network in 2015. The web series will introduce the new characters and the basic plot to generate some buzz before the big premiere, which is a welcome sign that Heroes isn't forsaking its commitment to interactivity.
