House Of The Dragon: Breaking Down Each Announced Cast Member

Sonoya Mizuno has been cast as Mysaria who HBO describes as the most trusted and unlikeliest ally of prince Daemon Targaryen. Just like with Game of Thrones, House of the Dragon is largely going to focus on the nobility of Westeros with Mysaria being the only announced character not from an official house.

If she is to be allied with Daemon, expect a potentially villainous portrayal, or at the very least, a highly opportunistic individual.

Mizuno has been going from strength to strength in recent years from her underrated work in Ex Machina in which she is one half of the best scene in that film as she dances with Oscar Isaac. She also did great work in the underseen Maniac in which she played a chain smoking scientist which had a lot of strong dramatic beats that showed off her talents.

House of the Dragon would be wise to utilise her to her fullest potential as she feels like she is close to a breakout role that could make her a household name.
