2. Stella Zinman
Stella Zinman was one of Ted's biggest love interests, so much so that they almost got married in the fourth season. You'd think this would make her an interesting character, but unfortunately you'd be very wrong.
Played by Scrubs' own Sarah Chalke, Stella starts off the show by removing a tattoo from Ted's back, and from there she appears to be an intriguing new addition to the fold, with great potential.
Alas, this is short-lived, as Stella never really becomes anything other than "Ted's new girlfriend who doesn't like Star Wars." Their relationship is rushed and sloppy, and to cap it off she leaves him at the altar for her ex without a word.
Whilst this leads to some great development for Ted, Stella herself ends up leaving the show as little more than an obstacle for him to conquer, and the fact that she let her husband make The Wedding Bride movie is unforgivable, let's be honest.
