7. When She Was An Awful Kindergarten Teacher (Which Was Nearly Always)
First of all, it’s a wonder how Lily managed to become a Kindergarten teacher in the first place. She has an art history degree with no qualifications for it and yet somehow, she got the job being in charge of young children.
It’s hard to narrow it down to just ONE moment where Lily was being a terrible teacher. She frequently abandons her class, telling them to keep on colouring, without finding another substitute. She should have been fired instantly just for this.
And she acted very carelessly in her position – telling Tyler his parents were getting a divorce, insulting a little girl for her show-and-tell project and sending the wrong letter to a parent.
Worst of all, Lily constantly relied on her friends to talk to the children in the 'share chair' about their own experiences because she was too lazy to actually come up with a lesson. Leaving Barney to talk about his sexual experiences to young kids… not a good idea, Ms Aldrin!
