How Steven Moffat Has Ruined Doctor Who

3. "Thank You" For Giving Us Fewer Episodes and Making Us Wait Longer

doctor who 7b Let's see, Mr. Moffat. Under your predecessor Russell T. Davies, we got 56 episode of Doctor Who from January 2005 to December 2008. He divided it up so we got one series per year. He then came under serious fire for dividing 2009 up into four specials rather than a full series. Under you, we got series 5 right on schedule. Then we got series 6, which had a mid-season hiatus. But you know, we endured. Then we learned for 2012 we would only get six episodes, after which we would wait for another few months before getting the rest. In 2013. Then of course, you announced for the huge upcoming event, the long awaited 50th anniversary, we would get.... a special. Seriously, one special? Oh no, my mistake, we would also get a Christmas special. Joy. My cup runneth over.
