Duos are as common in sitcoms as pigeons in London. Almost every series worth its salt has one, and Always Sunny paired two of the most unlikely friends and made gold with them.

The Gruesome Twosome of Charlie and Frank are a constant barrel of laughs thanks to their weird lifestyle, but it was taken to an emotional level in this episode.

In the two-part outing "Mac and Charlie Die", the titular characters fake their deaths to avoid getting murdered by Mac's father, who's just got out on parole. The rest of the gang are surprisingly okay with the situation, except Frank, who misses Charlie so much he makes a mannequin version of him to talk to.

An important thing to note here is that the show doesn't try to present this emotionally. Seeing Frank play with a mannequin version of his beloved friend is truly ridiculous, and the show treats it as such. With that being said, it's still emotional thanks to how much it means to Frank. He truly cares for his friend, and losing him hurts him so much that he can't find a way to go on without him.

It's a genuinely heartfelt and lovely moment - if you ignore the fact that he bangs it.
