Jessica Jones Season 2: 10 Things That Must Happen

OK, so we're all agreed that we want Kilgrave to return in a meaningful way. There is one big caveat to add here, however: the villain definitely should not come back to life.

To jog your memory, the last time we saw him Jessica broke his neck, putting an end to his evil-doing for good. This was a massive moment in her life as it represented her both conquering her demons but also being pushed to a dark place in order to do so. The extent to which taking Kilgrave's life continues to impact Jessica should be an interesting avenue to explore, and shouldn't be undercut with a simple "oh, he wasn't really dead, after all" get-out clause.

Ruling out a resurrection, then how can Kilgrave make his meaningful comeback? Well, the obvious way to do it would be to have Jessica suffering from PTSD from murdering him and have her hallucinating him at every turn. Some might find this a bit cheap but we have already seen Jessica suffering from something similar in Season 1 and this would be a neat way to bring Kilgrave back but in a way that fuels Jessica's personal storyline.
