Shooting Stars
Last night I sat and watched Shooting Stars and despite the odd chuckle
the review remains the same as last weeks. Just like the show you need to swap last weeks guests for
Ronni Ancona, Sam Faiers, Ashley Banjo and
Chris Tarrant. The jokes remain the same.
Entourage Series 8, Episode 7 Second To Last
Last night the penultimate episode ever of
Entourage aired on Sky Atlantic and despite the show heading for eternity on the shelf it doesnt seem to be building towards any big finale. Entourage has graced our screens for the last 8 years and has never really had any major story lines, so maybe it would be daft to think that they would start now. However, with the story on the chopping block I did expect things to build towards some sort of big finale for Vince, but instead hes trying to woo a girl. Okay, hes never been infatuated with a girl like this before, which everyone in the show keeps repeating, but surely his story could build to something bigger and more worthwhile than chasing a girl because of her intelligence and grace rather than smoking hot body The lives of the others in the gang seem to be building towards summat though. Erics relationship with Sloan seems dead in the water when he calls her a slut and finds out that she is pregnant with his child, but wants nothing to do with him. Aris marriage looks just as dead although the way in which he finishes this episode does suggest he may be looking to launch one final attempt to win his wife back. Turtles business looked dead too, but Vince be the guy he is saves Turtles backside and they make millions thanks to their investment in tequila. Drama finally gets his TV movie off the ground and things look on the up. As Entourage draws to a close it looks as though things will continue as they have for the last 8 years, all with a few personal adjustments. Next week the entire show will draw to a close before they make their reported movie and Entourage will be done forever.
The Field of Blood Part 2
Last night Part 2 of
The Field of Blood picked up where it left off last week with Paddy being too nosey for her own good. As Paddy gets closer and closer to the truth things begin to get more and more dangerous. In Part 2 she digs more and more than she did in part 1 and moves the story forward at a much faster pace. She finds little clues, takes little bit of information from different people and begins to weave together the story she needs to set this case straight. Despite continually stressing over being fat. In part 2 there is also a very real threat of danger as she is chased by a man she suspects of being a part of the murder case and then attacked on her way home one night. Something not really present in part 1. Her relationship with her family gets worse and worse as she struggles to convince them of why she wants to pursue the career she does and it finishes without being resolved. She also finds an ally on the paper with Terry as they work together on the story and she gets to interview her cousin Callum for the paper. As the episode rolls on the plot thickens and the story twists and turns. Part 2 of The Field of Blood is a lot more exciting, a lot more dangerous and a lot more interesting. Even if the ending, and Paddy being saved, was a little bit on the fortunate side. Also strange why David Morrissey played such a small part for an actor with a lot of weight in TV.
