After an almost seven-week wait that has felt like forever, the MCU has returned with another series on Disney+, this time featuring the God of Mischief himself.

The inter-dimensional Time Variance Authority have set their sights on Loki after he decided to play around with the timelines, as seen in the events of Avengers: Endgame. One episode of the six-instalment series has arrived and it has already revealed that there is a lot more going on in the background of the MCU than we know.

Owen Wilson's Agent Mobius and Loki have displayed a great deal of chemistry in just one hour, with Marvel fans all very excited to see how the show develops.

As has become tradition with the MCU's Disney+ shows, we are going to break down the biggest talking points from each episode.

And where else is better to start, than the beginning?

5. Loki Was D.B. Cooper??

We begin with something that was actually revealed in the promotional footage prior to Loki's release:

One of the most infamous unsolved mysteries in history - D.B. Cooper hijacked a plane in 1971 and was never seen again, getting away with 200,000 dollars.

In the opening episode of the third MCU Disney+ series, it is revealed that the mysterious plane hijacker was actually the God of Mischief himself. He claims that he was forced to do it, as he "lost a bet to Thor" when he was young.

This reference serves as a nod to the still-unsolved case and reinforces the knowledge that the Asgardians have been around for a lot longer than most of the heroes we have met in the MCU.
