8. Miss. Minutes

There are a lot of unique characters across the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and a handful in Loki alone, but few are quite so unique as the mascot of the Time Variance Authority, Miss. Minutes. Voiced by legendary voice artist, Tara Strong, Miss. Minutes ultimately became an important part of season one’s story.

The part recording, part sentient clock, with a wonderful southern accent clearly inspired by the DNA strand in the Jurassic Park welcome video, acted almost as an assistant to Judge Renslayer to begin with, but as the series went on, the true lengths of her allegiances to the TVA were revealed.

She deceived Sylvie, claiming there was a prototype ship that could take them to the Void to buy time while some of Renslayer’s Minute Men came to back her up, and she was ultimately revealed to be the assistant to He Who Remains, making her the second most powerful employee in the entire TVA.

Behind the cute appearance, the soothing voice, and the upbeat personality, Miss. Minutes was actually quite intimidating, and did her best to manipulate Loki and Sylvie into taking her boss’ deal. She was a fun addition to the series, even if she didn't enjoy as much screen time as some of the others.
