5. The Humour

Another of MacGyver's best attributes is its comedy. Whether it be Jack and Mac's humorous banter in the middle of a life-or-death situation, or Bozer's deplorable attempts to lie to Matty, the hit CBS series always manages to add a little levity to the dark storylines of the show. The humour is on top form in Improvise, and this time much of it comes from Jack.

We know Dalton has a habit of getting himself into bad situations, and unlike Mac he's not very good at talking his way out of them. However, that doesn't mean that he doesn't try, which provides the show with the much-needed lighter moments. It's great to see the writing is as sharp as ever.
